Feast of the Holy Cross

On Thursday 14th September we celebrated the Feast of the Holy Cross. It was a special day where we remember the life Jesus gave to us by his death and resurrection and how he asks us to be His presence in the world today to all people.

Our Eucharistic celebration was very special as this year we had veneration of the cross and three people from our school spoke about what being part of the Holy Cross community means to them.

After Mass we celebrated with a picnic lunch then later we had a talent quest among the grades which was a great opportunity to see the wonderful gifts with which our community has been bestowed. We pray and hope that our community of Holy Cross will continue to be blessed in such a way that it is able to show God's love to all within it and to those in the wider community.
